Film Night Success, our coming AGM ….. and more

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone that made our “Far From The Madding Crowd” film night a great success. All-up we raised $2080, via the ticket sales, donations and the raffle. Please keep in touch as we are going to be organising many more events this year and next to raise enough money to fund the coming election campaigns, in Local Government and the Federal Election both happening in 2016. When the weather improves we will have our “GREENS TO GREENS POINT” a bike ride that ends with a feast at Greens Point at Brighton Beach. The bike part will be fun, but people can come along anyway possible and enjoy the food company ….. more on this later. We have our AGM  – Annual General Meeting/monthly branch meeting coming soon on the 13th of July at 7:30pm. at Godfrey Street Community House, Bentleigh.  Please come along even if you never have before now. We will be seeking office bearers for all committee positions, which is always fun, all committee positions are open to members. We need people with experience and good organising skills. It is an exciting times to be involved with The Greens as so much is happening, there are many opportunities arising for us to increase our representation at all levels of government. All it takes is Greens members and supporters working together to push forwards our ideas of seeing a fairer, cleaner, and a more accountable government.  Lets get together and make it happen sooner rather than later.
