ROSE READ preselected as the Greens Candidate for the seat of Goldstein

We are really fortunate to have Rose Read preselected as the Greens Candidate for the seat of Goldstein.

“I grew up in East Brighton.  I love living in Bentleigh, as I have for the last 16 years.  Last year I stood for the Greens in the council election and narrowly missed out in a tough contest. Professionally, I have worked in education, women’s and children’s services and more recently on environment and climate change action with councils in Melbourne’s north. I have been an active volunteer in community and environment services for many years.

I will work actively towards the Greens vision of a sustainable and thriving Australia.  We need to take care of our amazing environment, and shift to a clean, smart economy. We need to allow people to flourish through good education, health care, respect and opportunity for all.

It is also really important we elect Janet Rice to the Senate. Only a strong presence in the Senate will hold future governments accountable.”

Join the 2013 campaign this is the time, right now, when we need you to help.

The more help we have, the more we will be able to do. We have big and little jobs. We have home based research jobs and jobs you can do with others in the campaign team.

You can help with local stalls, leafleting, communications and media, events and fundraising, planning and logistics.

If you would like to help, we would love to hear from you.
